I Patricia A. Hafner Editor Mary Lloyd Craddock Alice Willis Roberts Business Managers 1946 Published by THE STUDENT BODY OF BLACKSTONE COLLEGE Blackstone, Virginia Foreword This Annual symbolizes a new era which began when our college reopened in September. Our stay at Black- stone has been brief—brief, but memorable. Between these covers, we have tried to present all our associates and record some of our activities. It is our hope that as you turn each page you may relive again and again the days we have enjoyed together. Dedication Because of her sympathetic understanding TOWARD THE STUDENT BODY, BECAUSE OF HER HELPFUL COUNSEL IN OUR MANY PROBLEMS, BUT MOST OF ALL BECAUSE OF OUR OWN DEEP AFFEC¬ TION FOR HER AND OUR HIGH RESPECT FOR THE IDEALS BY WHICH SHE LIVES, WE DEDICATE OUR 1946 ACORN TO MRS.
