Metin Culhaoglu 0ur Foreign Exchange Student From TurkMey .wif Wie wlilkifff MMI writ At the beginning of the school, being a foreign exchange student, I felt myself as a new baby who iust opened his eyes to u new life, and I still think it was right. I knew almost nobody. I was anxious to do things wrong and to disappoint the people. Then I realized that everybody, whom I met, was friendly and kind. Now I can tell everybody in my country that the Americans are friendly people and one can get along with them easily. I also admired Blackford's kind and helpful teachers who helped me so much during the year. During the time I spent in Blackford l learned many interesting parts of the American school life, like dances, student government and activities which did not know before. Now I would like to thank Mrs. Gillette, Mr. Romer, teachers and students who made me like Blackford. I say good-bye with hoping to visit you again and I also expect you to come Turkey someday. 421. of 48
