The magazine sold for 50 cents. Student staffers worked with teachers in the English Department to produce the magazine. The type composition and pasteup was done by publications stu- dents. if wx G ive-awa ' old annuals A cassette recorder and three tapes were the prizes in the subscription drive for the 1971 Reflections. The cassette was given to senior Connie Cromer after her name was drawn from among the names of all those who subscribed to the yearbook during the drive. During the two-week campaign, 875 Yearbooks were sold-a record sale. Seven members of the staff attended a two-week summer workshop at Ball State University. There, john Stevens was awarded a superior in layout and Rick Sutton a first in sports editing. Yearbook staffers attended two confer- ences during the year and planned an awards banquet in May at the Chanticleer Restaurant.
