A new school increased their duties Throughout the school year, three county educational executives were fre- quent visitors to the new school, check- ing on such things as equipment ranging from journalism to cafeteria materials; on construction, which mainly included the completion of the gym for the Janu- ary 16 basketball game; and personnel, including 68 teachers, 20 of them new to the county system. Besides his complex duties of man- aging county schools. Dr. Conrad Gallo- way, superintendent, was also executive secretary of the school board. Mr. Payne, assistant superintendent for business affairs, was in charge of non-professional personnel and busi- ness management procedures.
