Toward State They're still dipping away, but the heard is growing thinner. WIN was what the whole school wanted. Make it to state has been the goal of even BRONCO foot football team, but it seemed a hard goal to reach. Our football team made it to state this year, and the pep assembly was one of the most emotion packed this year Mr Barlow made the deal that he would shave if the team made it to state. So. after a moving speech on the personal sacrifices of the football team, he shaved. The entire team lined up to clip a chunk of hair from the infamous beard Then the coaches got in on the act. Coach Humphreys lathered his ffce. and Coach Jones shaved the remaining beard off using an electric razor to finish the job. John Jones closed the assembly and brought tears to many eyes with his statement.
