Students Chosen for Merit's Who's Who MERIT'S WHO'S WHO is a permanent record book containing a biography of numerous outstanding students A copy is sent to prominent colleges and is used as a reference guide The students were chosen by their Senior teachers If the student sent in the application form, then they were accepted and eligible for one of ten $1.000 00 scholarships The students were judged on their outstanding achievements Their biography being published in this record book is an award and honor that they can be proud of Front row Eric Schultz. Four Blackfooters Chosen to Attend Girls' State in June Fifteen Junior girls were chosen by their Junior teachers They are selected according to leadership, cooperation, integrity, scholarship, and physical fitness The girls attended a tea hosted by the American Legion Auxiliary and each girl was asked to give an impromptu speech on a current event Following the tea the Auxiliary made its choice of the four girls who would attend the Girls' State meeting at the Northwest Nazarene College in Nampa in June 21
