FRESHMAN CLASS CLASS OFFICERS KAREN KESLER JEANETTE DETMER GERALINE DURNEY DOUG DIXON ..... Secretary Representative President Vice President As we entered the front door of Blackfoot High School, the thought upper-most in our minds was: How will we get along with the upper classmen—will we be pushed around—walked over? For a week or so our time was filled just learning our new class schedules, becoming acquainted with the school building, and adjusting to new regulations. Then came fatal I-Day (Initiation Day)! We survived—in fact our brightly marked faces and silly costumes were fun. Having to wear “onion necklaces” was not bad when we learned that even the veterans suffered. However, we are at last in full swing. Studies and activities kept us busily occupied. We are proud of our class and have high hopes that it will make its mark. B.H.S.—here is the class of 1957—enthusiastic, loyal, and ready to serve.
