The senior class dedicates the 1986 Blackquill to our parents Parents are important people, influencing their children's lives through their actions. There have been many times when we have thought of giving up but they have given us the gentle push it takes to make us work a little harder and succeed. What we re really trying to say, Moms and Dads, is thank you so much for all you've done; we love you. This year’s Blackquill is dedicated to our parents because they: . have always been there for me when I needed them and helped and gave me hope when I was down. — Lori Bauer . . have always been there when I've needed them, supported what I've done, and have been caring and con- cerned about me. — Brian Benson . they understand the problems I face as a student and in growing up. — John Blanchard through out the years of my life, my parents have given me the direction that was needed, helped me through the hard times and taught me much more than I could have ever learned on my own. — Gary Bodien . are supporting and they always offer me some type of constructive criticism that helps me to better myself. — Kyle Dick have always stood behind my decisions and active involvement with school. — Alex Gerdes are supportive, understanding and the people who have had the most influence in my life. — Grace Gullette have given a lot and it's a way of giving something back to them by showing our appreciation this way. — Lynn Hentges have given me a strong background and the necessary tools to go out and build a life of my own. I thank them very much. — Ken Kalvig because they like you even when your dog doesn't. Let me tell you, it's RUFF! — Becky McLaughlin are special, easy-going, easy to laugh and tell my troubles to, and they are the ones who make me come to this place and they made me what I am today. — Lisa Patnode ... I feel they are understanding about the problems I have and also relate to me. They always make me feel good about what I do. — Michael Parker care. They are there to talk to and give me advice. — Julie Pomp have backed me in each of my high school activities, as well as my being a financial burden. — Jeff Schmit are the ones who made me possible, and boy, are they lucky! — Steve Schwarzlander spoil me rotten and they deserve some recognition for their total lack of discipline. — Scott Sonnek are the most important people in my life. They have brought me up in the way that nobody else would do!! — LizTjepkes . always seem to understand that there are a few essentials in life, chiefly money, parties, and cars, and of course they make provisions for these with few questions asked. — Anthony Vorderbruggen
