The class of 1985 is proud to dedicate the Blackquill to Mr. Jack Penn. In 1968 Mr. Penn graduated from Mankato High School. He graduated from Mankato State University in 1972 with majors in math and chemistry. Since the fall of that year, he has been employed at Blackduck High. Mr. Penn lives south of Black- duck on South Twin Lake with his wife Nancy and daughter Lindsey. He can generally be found outdoors hunting, fishing, or working on his house. Other activities include card games, brain-teasers, such as Trivial Pursuit, or matching his wits against one of his students in backgammon or chess. For 10 of his 13 years at Blackduck High he has been working with computers, and since his employ- ment, he has been in our math depart- ment.
