DEDICATION The class of 1978 is pleased to dedicate this year's BLACKQUILL to Mr. Patrick Kovar. Mr Kovar has taught English and speech classes in Blackduck for the past four years. In addition to his teaching duties, he is the coach of the declamation team, the golf team and a junior class advisor. Mr. Kovar is a graduate of DeLaSalle High School in Minneapolis, and received a B.A. degree from the University of Colorado and his B.S. degree from Bemidji State University. Prior to coming to Blackduck, he worked as a graduate assistant at Bemidji State. Mr. Kovar and his wife, Marie, live in Hines and have one son, Zachary, age six months. Remember me when no longer day by day, you tell me of out future that you planned; Only remember me, you understand it will be late to counsel then or pray. Yet if you should forget me for a while and afterwards remember, do not grieve; For if the darkness and corruption leave a vestige of the thoughts that once I had, Better by far you should forget and smile than that you should remember and be sad. The class of 1978 fondly remembers Jody Stenson who passed away in the fall of our Sophomore year.
