ELEVENTH GRADE OFFICERS Seated: Kallroos, Sec. Dufseth, Vice Pres. Schirmer, Pres. Hentges, Treas. Standing: Gemer, advisor Thorbrogger, advisor ♦ MOMENTS TO REMEMBER We started our freshman year out with much royalty. First of all. Sue Cross and Eldon Leino were our Homecoming candidates and Sue was crowned Queen. Following that, Paula Tischler was crowned Carnival Prin- cess. In our sophomore year, Marie Lossing gained another royalty for us when she received the Homecoming Crown. Jim Hentges was the King candi- date. Sharon Waring represented us in the Carnival Queen contest. Last year, our Junior year, held much for us. Jean Cox and Dan Wild were our Homecoming candidates. Our Carnival Queen candidate was Carol Quam. We gave our Junior Class Play, The Beauty and the Beef , on Nov- ember 5» 1958. We attended County Day in Bemidji on May 5, 1959» The Prom, annually given by the junior class, was a great success on May 9. Sue Cross and Duane Wolden represented us at Girls' and Boys' State, respect- ively, in June. Our rings were received September 24, 1959. They had been on order since February 11. We had our class pictures taken September 24 and re- ceived them November 12, 1959« October, 1959, presented us with another royalty----Carnival Queen Marie Lossing. Paula Tischler and Dean Juelson vied for the Homecoming titles. We ordered our announcements on October 20, 1959, and they will be here in the spring in time for the Baccalaureate service which is scheduled for May 22, i960, with Graduation following on May 24. Our class was greatly saddened when Dan Wild was stricken with polio. He took treatments until Christmas and by then was too far behind to gradu- ate with us.
