Text from Pages 1 - 60 of the 1957 volume:

The Class of 1957 Presents THE BLACK QUILL BLACKDUCK HIGH SCHOOL Blackduck, Minnesota 1957 Dedication We, the Senior Class of 1957, wish to dedicate The Black Quill to Krs. Perrie Parker. She was on the teaching staff of Blackduck High School from 19U3 until 19h9. Returning after a 5’ year absence in 195U, she is now teaching high-school English. Many successful plays have been presented under her direction, and the Booster has grown from a mimeographed sheet to a printed paper largely due to her efforts. Her students have participated in district and regional speech contests. We, the Senior Class of 1957, wish to dedicate our annual to Mrs. Parker because she has been more than a teacher; she 2 has been a friend and counselor ' -m. V.
