With a song and a smile could well be the motto of the members of the chorus and their director, Mr. Hanson. It is the general opinion of B. H. S. that the music which they contributed to the numerous concerts throughout the year was much improved over previous years. SEXTETTE That group of six smiling faces that you have hoard sing- ing at the various programs and concerts during the year is none other than the girl’s sextette They are accom- panied by Carol Nesset and directed by Mr Hanson. ROW I Bye, Ildefonzo, Murray, Zimmerman, Bauer, KIup1, Jensen, Erpelding, Houg. The twenty-one students that make up the School Patrol are all voluntary members. Captain Bud Anderson, with the help of Mr. Brunson, does a good job of keeping the members alert as they go about their duties of directing the children across the streets and keeping order at the athletic functions. STUDENT COUNCIL Whenever any important question arises concerning school government, the Student Council is always on the job. Under the supervision of Mr. Brosvick, superintendent, the officers, president, John Miller, vice president, Lois Giles, secretary, Kay O'Brien, and Arlys Heinrich, treasurer, worked out many of the problems confronting the students. They did a very good job of playing at games and gave two concerts which were enjoyed by everyone who heard them. They also held an auction sale to help pay for new uniforms. JUNIOR SEXTETTE Jenny Kilde, Betty Berg, Chatta Huffman, Janet Larson, Sharon Beier, and Janet Bauer, make up the junior sextette.
