So ug e have probably all had se me out of here!” We ca . seg No matter how eh ad iipec ible it got, _we survived each time, knowing the next time _ would be our last. But however it all turned « out, we iomee and that’s what's important. 71 74 When we were freshman, do you remember looking ahead and feel- ing it would never end? It seemed like you would be spending a large part of your life here. Well, we did spend a large part of our life here, but it was all jam-packed into four short years along with books and friends, teachers and social lives. Quite a bit has happened to us. We have grown and matured, though sometimes you can’t really feel it. But look back and you'll see it. Now we’re at the end of our four years. Looking back it went so fast — too fast. You can remember things you wish you’d done different and things you wouldn’t change at all. If you had the chance, would you go back and really study? Sometimes we were just too busy to study. We had enough things to keep us busy for a 28 hour day and just hoped we'd be able to somehow squeeze a little bit of free time out of it. But we were so used to being busy, when we did get that free moment we didn’t know what to do with ourselves! 75 78 ny be | i i if fi (HH fil aay 9 ii | ai a Co Bo 2 ee ,! ve =P : te en Now we are venturing into the real world. Hopeful- ly we can all answer ‘Where do I go from here?” It’s a frightening thought. We are now the big people we always wanted to be when we were small. Now we wish we could be small again, without all the responsi- bilities that go with being big. But we’ll make it. When we leave we'll carry things with us that are very much a part of, and will remind us of, Blackburn. With us we take ideals and feelings, friends, emotions, perhaps even a husband or wife. In any case, no one leaves Blackburn empty-handed. — _ Let’s make a promise to each other. Let’s promise to _ keep in touch and really do it this time. We have so much to offer each other, let’s not waste it. Have a happy forever.
