trophies. MARY McKEAN finally hooked Ken. It took ten years to plan the attack, but success at last. JOHN McREYNOLDS has been assigned on as head photographer of the Donald Larabee School of Dance. The dancers have one big complaint about John, he's always taking pictures without a warning. LESLIE MEININGER has found a new formula to take the curl out of his hair---starch. DOYLE OXENDER has started his own still in his basement and says, lt's iust like Grandma used to make. DICK PFEIFFER, between naps, pitched the 342nd no-hit game for the Cleveland Squaws. He states that he lust can't get warmed up or woke-up enough or he would have pitched more. SHARON REX is now the chief sky-writer for the Paratroopers in the U. S. Army. She has iust written a song entitled Love Letters in the Sky. RICHARD ROOK has lust left for another safari to darkest Africa where he plans to visit his old friends the Mu-Mu's. He informs us through his letters that the favorite food over in Africa is People and Cheeze on Rye. RICHARD SAEGERT, Red Barbor the second, has broken the filibuster record with 9 days, 8 hours, and 52 minutes. He would only give one comment after his filibuster, Water Pleasel JOYCE SHEPHERD now runs her own beauty shop in downtown Albion. She has lust bought a new machine that removes scalps to use in her shop. JOAN SHOULTER has finally snagged the right one and lives happily in Polk with I2 kids and her mother-in-law. LINDA SHULTZ now runs her own butcher shop in her home-town, but plans to retire next month and move to the Shultz-Wood Estates on the east side of Spencer. PHILIP SIMCOX, a physics prof at Kent, has developed a sleqaing pill that makes you sleep with your eyes open. He says it comes in very handy during some of the lectures he gives. DUANE SNODDY, the millionaire playboy, has left his old home-state of Ohio to become the replacement for Tab Hunter on the Tab Hunter series. PAT STEVENSON in now the head of the music department at good old B.R.H.S. She is assisted by Mrs. Foor at the piano, and Mr. Root is the handyman whenever she needs an errand run. JANET SVIRIK, professor of pyschology at Priceton, is having the time of her middle-age life, and what female wouldn't at an all-male school? DAVID TRAPP is now the proud owner of the Trapp 's Trucking Lines . He is also the proud owner of four sets of twins and three sets of triplets. DON VAN METER stars in an outdoor series on television called An Afternoon with Don. JERRY VEVERKA has just purchased Dragstrip 42 for his kids to ride their tricycl es on. ARNOLD WAC KER has just given up his title The Wolf of Las Vegas so he can settle down in Alaska, and start his own dog team to race in the Olympics. DAVID WEYER has his own night club in Huntington called Froggie's Hide-A-Way. It looks as though the Daughtery and Wolf team has another successful column, but of course it couIdn't be anything else but a success when you have such a brilliant, hard-working, lovingl y, and wonderful group as the Class of '61 to work with.

Senior Cfaad propbcy The year is 1971 and that famous newspaper team of Daugherty and Wolf have started a new column in their New York Times called, Failures Yesterday--Successes Today. They had in mind that fabulous Class of '61 when they wrote this column. We shall now take a glimpse into their little column to see what's happening to the members of that Class of '61, JANET AVERY, a noted chemist, has recently discovered a now rare earth element. She named it Avererium after her own brilliant self. LYN BASSETT hasnow taken Julie London's place as the Marlboro girl. This new job is due to the changing of Junie's voice. KENNY BERRY has become Yogi Bear's new assistant, Booboo because he 's so much like the average type boy. CONNIE BILLHEIMER has just been appointed as Secretary of State after her success as the secretary to the Class of '61, LARRY BLESSING is the new coach of the Harlem Globe Squatters, and ROSE BOWLING is the new chief water-woman forthe Squatters. BRENDA BOYD has gone into hibemation in the Catskills. She states that the annual and the school paper will go out in time. She is also writing a novel entitled E Makes Commercial Teachers Tick? VIRGINIA BRADLEY now owns and operates a factory that manufactures stilts of all sizes. The only trouble she has is getting up on them. SUSAN BRIDGETT, after divorcing fifteen husbands, has started her own love-lorn column in the Times entitled Dear Heartbroken Susan. SUSAN BURKHART has made her fame as an auctioneer on her husbcnd's television program, You can't out-talk her! CONNIE CLIFFORD has started her own beauty salon with the slogan OnIy her hairdresser knows. HENRY COWHICK is the owner of a large rodent ranch near Sullivan. He just hopes they dan't rat out on him. JOAN DAVIS, who is the president of WrigIey's Chewing Gum factory, now owns,and operates her own riding academy in Sullivan. LORETTA DAWSON is now a model with Mad Magazine. She states that the work is absolutely Mad, Mad, Madl JUDY DENNIS, our national birdwatcher has written a book entitled, Twelve Easy Lessons in Bird-Watchigg: GARY DEWAR, the electrician of the year, has had many shocking experiences since he left Black River. ADOLPH DO RN, an engineer, is now remodeling the great Khufu Pyramid in Egypt. ELAINE FORSTER is now the owner and operator of the Fred's Food Basket. Her specialty at the food basket is hot potato valcano. RAY GARN is now the congressman form the 17th District and has just introduced a bill to halt all Senior Government Classes. The only trouble is that this bill is just ten years too late. RAY GAST, world's champion pool player, has won the safe-driving award. RICHARD HEILMAN has just made fame in Paris with his WhistIer's Brother painting. DAVE HOWE has won the award cs best mechanic of the year with his prize-winning B-Gasser. He is assisted by JOAN HEIFFNER .zs his chief numer-one grease-monkey. CONNIE HYDE has become the star vocalist with the Majce's Ace's band. The leader of the terrific Ace, band, who also plays Ist trumpet, is JOE MAJCE. JOHN JORDAN, who just set up asheep-ranch onthe campus of Ohio State, has married another sheepherder and with their three kids they have a bIeating gaocl time. KAREN KARI has just invented a device to keep from having fouls called on her lMiss Kari is the star center on the Globe Squatters.1 SUE KEILLOR, the world's judo star, has just cracked up in more ways than one. ROSE ANN KURTZ is row the feature attraction on the Mickey Mouse series, our own little Mouse- kateer. DAVID LEIDORFF, star tackle for the Leiclorff Little Lugheacls, is still winning those

Janet Avery is at the head of the class, At making friends she is very fast. A member of the FTA, Teaching will be her profession someday. Lyn Bassett a quiet and coy girl, Has sent many heart's for a twirl. Home-ec is her favorite class, Her good cooking makes her pass. John Bell who is quiet and slow, To Black River he does go. True to his class he will always be, A friend of both you and me. Kenny Berry the shortest of our guys, Makes up for this by being wise. He makes a hit in every class, And catches the eye of every lass . Connie Billheimer, secretary this year, Has a grin that goes from ear-to-ear. In class she is rated high, Once you meet her you'll know why. Larry Blessing, president of our class, ls always seen with a blond-haired lass. ln sports he is always there, Usually getting in the coaches hairl Rosie Bowling our gal-on-the-go, ln school work her grades are never low. Larry is her steady beau, This is a fact that we all know. Brenda Boyd is really a ioy, And she has conquered many a boy. The editor of the paper we all know, ln basketball she's quite a foe. Virginia Bradley the smallest of all, During school she is having a ball . Some of her tricks are pretty tough, But we don't mind that kind of stuff. Susan Bridgett with hair so long, In our class she does belong. An old maid is what she wants to be, Boy's are her pastime, as you can see. Susan Burkhart is a chatty lass, She's one of the nicest in our class. She twirls a baton along with the band. One of the best maiorettes in the land. Connie Clifford with a blond hair-do, Keeps herself looking fresh and new. She likes to drive a car around, And then buy :lathes in town after town. Henry Cowhick wants to please, Most of the people that he sees. He has been blessed with a certain name, Since this, life just isn't the same. gfacif River Cfada poem Joan Davis who resides on 'a farm, Has Something that is called charm. Being tall she found was dandy, In Basketball it comes in handy. Loretta Dawson with big brown eyes, At some things she is very wise. In FBI she wants to work, At this lob she will never shirk. Judy Dennis with a very high voice, Says that nursing is her choice. Judy has acquired a certain name, lt's Birdie, but she's still the same. Gary Dewar is a quiet boy, But when you know him he's quite a icy He's really got a lot on the ball, Some day he might surprise us all . Adolph Dorn the brain of our class, A good time he will never pass. Two pair of specks he does wear, The only things he will not share. Elaine Forster Better known as Fred, Has nothing in her life to dread. In the kitchen she is tops, But hates to clean her pans and pots. Raymond Gam in football did play, 'Till he got racked up on a cold day. ln the hospital he found a hobby, Watching pretty nurses in the lobby. Raymond Gast also known as Fidget, His shortness resembles that of a midget. Some sports he thinks are very cool, But his favorite one is playing pool. Joan Heiffner our football queen, In David's eyes she is supreme. A secretary is what she wants to be, Then marry and raise a family. Richard Heilman with a pleasing smile. With the Seniors he'll stay all the while He says his favorite class is art, And from that he will never part. Dave Howe our football star, Can always be found near and far. Carrying the ball you will always find, Dave on the field with Joan in mind. Connie Hyde with voice so sweet, Is always found dressing oh so neat. To college she is onward bound, A truer friend can never be found . John Jordan has won many prizes, All colors, shapes, and sizes. Sheep are his pride and ioy, Nothing gets past this smart boy. T 1
