Dedication We, the members of the Breeze Staff, representing the Senior Class of 1966, dedicate this Breeze to Mr.Ver- non Severson. Itlr. Severson has been a member or our faculty for six years, and, during this time, has given us valuable guidance and assistance. The challenges he has presented to us have left us with an acute awareness of the world around us. His teaching skill has granted us knowledge which will prove to be aworthy asset to us. Along with his teaching duties, Mr. Severson has been a coach for the Freshman football team, and an advisor to the Student Council and the National Honor Society. For all your kind and patient services, we thank you, Mr. Severson. x 6 vr gr., .. fd ' :Ji In 1513. -I 'xg Y 5? uk . .' The purpose of Pep Club is to promote school spirit. to encourage attendance at games and to assist at school athletic events. Each year the members decorate the halls and the gym for Home- coming. They also sell Homecoming pins. They sell tickets and hand out programs at the games. Each girl receives points for games attended and services rendered. At the end of the school year each member who has earned fifty or more points receives a letter or a bar. Sectional Tournament at Tomah. Their bid for a State Tour- nament slot was setlback by the loss to Ia Crosse Central, eight to six in extra innings. This gave the Tigers a season record of eight wins and sevenlosses. Lack of consistent hitting for the season was overshadowed by the exceptional defensive play by the team. Randy Millis and Dudley Zhe, the Tiger pitching staff, combined efforts to establish an im- presslve record on the mound.
