WS OVC!! ! l SYNOPSIS OF PLOT: The leading man, Barry Hollis, has just graduated from Princeton and has inherited his father's fortune. On the way home, he meets Gladys Vance and it's love at first sight. When he gets home he immediately writes a letter to his ex-girl friend, Patsy, asking for his fraternity pin, and a letter to Gladys asking her to come for a visit. The letters get mixed and complication piles on complication, The climax comes when Barry is arrested for kidnaping a baby. Then to top this, Barry is informed that his estate has dwindled to nothing, All his girl friends forsake him except one - Anne Furber, CAST Seth Miller, a prosperous lawyer - - - Furber, a butler ------------- Barry Hollis, a young millionaire playboy - - KENNY BROWN - - - NORMAN MILLIS DALLAN ZAMRZLA Mrs. Sue Hollis, his aunt ---------- ---- I ESSIE FISHER June Hollis, his young sister - - Kathleen, their Irish cook - - Ann Furber, a young actress - - Patsie Linden, a dancer - - - Mrs. Linden, her mother - - - Gladys Vance, a dream girl ----- Ralph Saunders, a man with a purpose - - Mrs. Jones, a young mother ------ - - -JANE CASPER - - CAROL MURPHY - ' NELL DIMMICK - - - MARIE GALSTER SHARON ANDERSON - - - - IUDI HAGEN - - LARRY MURPHY SHARON FAGERNESS GUIDANCE COUNSELING The primary task of a part-time counselor involves vocational guidance, and the major part of the remaining time is devoted to personal-social guidance. This, quite simply put, involves discussing with students ways and means by which they might solve their own problems. It is the belief of those engaged in guidance that all people encounter problems and obstacles in their life and that it is often difficult to surmount these troubles without assistance of some sort. We tty to give this assistance. diff if A MAF. sv -Uv: '. . , if .1- L N2 ff ' K f if-Lf i!5rr?i'? 3f4 fx 2, 5, E I W aw L ,frwl '11 4: R f maaff, 5 el Z .f V H - Ra., fl mug z , , , f -Cd' . pint- F1453 , wg Up, , 5gKK,1E..lh wmuj- ' V fix j 'jf Q ',vJ,:nlN :luv . .X H V I, ' Qu llvl 5- nimun l -'I ivan rs -155115 1- . 4- 5 S 3 W - gif . ri 'L W, if N WZ? me 1 W , '2 'is .A K gf: 1 , .V A ,il vw, . -KRUQ , t Q -qw, . ,. ,xxx -V xl f ,Q , - rf iw' 4 . if lr- 3' rg' I ,wx i f... 4 ,M i 'Bxfsm-. Practically every member of the squad played in one or both of the summer baseball leagues and their consistent sparkling performances during the season were a credit to the entire program, Season highlights included a resounding win over West Salem in a home game played under the lights and a nine inning 1 to O loss to Arcadia in the finals of the district tournament, Lefty Dan Mills and Arcadia's Tom Mettlach tied up in a scoreless duel in this one which saw Arcadia score the unearned lone counter on an error, a tipped-bat penalty, a hit batsman and a walk after Mills had struck out fifteen. Captain Duane Peterson and Mills shared mound chores throughout the season and never had a bad day. Only go seniors, Dave Lund and Danny Gomer, have graduated and prospects for the forthcoming season are optimistic. 366 333 310 290 240 231 187 160 100 1 1 s R X r 1? ..1 5, f Qzgiizy W Y , L 11113 . k gg H Q Q . if , X 35 'EV if 'L -g' WK I Q X 515' -iiiiffw , W 1 if ' 7'i'4-- ' 5 A ., 01 155031 Q-.LMQM , f . 5551 K iff, . f ,fy - 1 ' .ffl 5 . gf ' k mt' f f Ag f 9 Manga, 4 nfl? 3 . The many tasks involved in getting material, as- sembling, editing and publishing is a constant battle to meet the deadline. To overcome the difficulties requires good teamwork, and this is what we have. We are proud of our school paper.
