IN MEMORIA IViMauc E. Gugi t Black Riv v ttujh School 1970-1986 William Crozier came to Ludlow in 1970. and spent sixteen years in our school system. During his years at Black River High School. Mr. Crozier participated in many school functions. For eight years he was crossing guard and during the week before Christmas vacation he would dress up as Santa and hand out candy canes to children while on duty. Numerous science fairs were judged at the Ludlow Ele- mentary School by Mr. Crozier over the years. During the annual Black River High School Winter Carnival he refereed many events which he enjoyed immensely. In 1977 Mr. Crozier formed his famous surveying team “E and the MC2’s”. That same year the team raised enough money to travel to the Ocianographic Technical Center in Woods Hole, Massachusetts for a three day science visit. In 1980 he volunteered the services of his Physics class to move a piano, and henceforth they were known as “Wild Bill’s Piano Movers”. He also served on various committees for the Ludlow Teacher’s Association. Mr. Crozier will best be remembered for his happy, jocular, and friendly personality. A man who gave much and expected little in return. 2
