BANNER ‘87 Stack Rivm fkglt ScJwot Lu tioW, V VMDlfc Oa Of 1987 Tic Timca Of Ouji Livet IN MEMORIA IViMauc E. Gugi t Black Riv v ttujh School 1970-1986 William Crozier came to Ludlow in 1970. and spent sixteen years in our school system. During his years at Black River High School. Mr. Crozier participated in many school functions. For eight years he was crossing guard and during the week before Christmas vacation he would dress up as Santa and hand out candy canes to children while on duty. Numerous science fairs were judged at the Ludlow Ele- mentary School by Mr. Crozier over the years. During the annual Black River High School Winter Carnival he refereed many events which he enjoyed immensely. In 1977 Mr. Crozier formed his famous surveying team “E and the MC2’s”. That same year the team raised enough money to travel to the Ocianographic Technical Center in Woods Hole, Massachusetts for a three day science visit. In 1980 he volunteered the services of his Physics class to move a piano, and henceforth they were known as “Wild Bill’s Piano Movers”. He also served on various committees for the Ludlow Teacher’s Association. Mr. Crozier will best be remembered for his happy, jocular, and friendly personality. A man who gave much and expected little in return. 2 hi Owv Ftoifr nowt .... Shawn .( 1 Joey Beth Mary Ann Mark Robin Matt Jimmy y Andy Greg W. There were 2 seniors on the team, 1986 co-Captain Chris Tougas and Pam Seal. Chris will surely remember her soccer career well as she scored the winning goal in her junior year in the State Championship game and this year being the Army M.V.P. Pam has played soccer only two years and was also a member of the 1985 Championship team. This year she made the transition from Midfielder to Fullback, not an easy change to make. Both contributed to our success in the second half of the season and I wish them both the best of luck. Went broke. Took 15 years years to pay off his bills. Took a wife. Unhappy marriage. Ran for House. Lost twice. Ran for Senate. Lost twice. Delivered speech that became a classic. Audience indifferent. Attacked daily by the press and despised by half the country. Despite all this, imagine how many people all over the world have been inspired by this awkward, rumpled, brooding man who signed his name simply, A. Lincoln.
