In the Spotlight You have a sensible, positive approach to education and the opera- tion of our high school. You try to implant in the students respect for themselves, their peers, teachers, families, and school. Some of the outstanding things you have achieved here include pur- chasing and installing lockers in each classroom and in the locker rooms, reconstructing the Guidance Office with a soundproof conference room, and installing a photography lab. You have also designed activity periods to include all the students during our ten week ski program, and instituted an Honors Banquet to recognize outstanding effort and achievement in scholastics, art, music, and extra-curricular activities. Due to your perseverance and enthusiasm for computers, we now have a fine program with nine computers. And we were proud to have been a part of the statewide computer convention held at B.R.H.S. last spring. Because your position as Principal at Black River High School has been successful, we would like to show our appreciation by dedicating the 1984 Banner to you.
