DEDICATION Because he has worked for and with us, be- cause he has given generously of his time and wis- dom-words are a poor substitute with which to express our sincere respect and admiration for this man. He is the head of the Student Council, the A.V.A. Department, and is the Junior Class spon- sor. He voluntarily gave so much of his time to our Junior Prom and to our many other projects. He is never too busy to stop and talk with a student or to help the school in any way he can. Because of his outstanding work as a teacher and a spon- sor, the members of the Banner staff and the Sen- ior Class are proud to dedicate the, ‘68 Banner to Mr. William Palmer.
SUPERINTENDENT’S MESSAGE Dear Seniors: You are nearing the end of your high school education and about to embark upon an entirely new personal course. The choice of just what this avenue should be is a very difficult one indeed, for you enter a world that is exceedingly complex. 1 sincerely hope that, whatever your pursuit in life may be, it will be challenging and stimulating for you. Only by setting goals for yourself that chal- lenge to the utmost your own abilities will a full and rewarding life be attained. The best to you always, William F. Risley PRINCIPAL’S MESSAGE Educational opportunites today are unlimited for anyone desiring post-secondary experiences. The areas of choice are usually governed by the young person’s secondary background. This ne- cessitates concentration on effort, establishment of proper attitudes, and the creation of realistic goals. A realization of these needs is tantamount to achievement as they are not beyond reach.Con- tinuance along the post-secondary path entails willingness to make sacrifices, doggedness to per- severe, resilience to resist setbacks, and the ability to realize one’s capabilities.
