1965 Class Prophecy IN THE REALMS OF PLUTO U was a bright raid-summer's day when the mail arrived. One could tell by the fingerprints on the stamp that this mail was different. All depravity was to be obtained from this mail. As Beverly Brunelle lodged her fingers upon the envelope, she was seized by an unknown spell. Haunted, she raced to Judy Stocker, one of decorum. And it came to pass that Judy also was engulfed by mystery. With the rage of a mighty hurricane, she tore open that letter. Behold it was one travel folder sent by one lost friend, Mari Heikkinen. In this folder was described a place of paradise. Mari was going to induce her friends back home. All eyes were fixed south in their direction, and south was the stage. All was quiet at the Inferno. Not one flame was out of hand. Diane Bowers and Dianne Billings had seen to that. They were to keep the home fires burning. King Paul Butler and Queen Robin Crowell quietly sipped their grog. Martin Hoffman spoke not a word. In fact he hadn’t since his arrival here, six long weeks ago. He was banned from society, you know, for inventing the most powerful bomb. He had used it to destroy a replica of the Empire State Building he had built with his tinker toys. He was now employed as chief bongo man. Sara.’, was disguised as Reg Matz. Satan felt Reg a most worthy character. The bongo beat fast and there before our eyes, she appeared. Rory Conway was modeling the latest in pitch forks and horns. Between each performance, one observed Diann Davidson and Edith Sampson selling suntan lotion to those who wished to tan and not burn. With the firtue of queens and the vice of vilUans, Bev and Judy stalked in. Joy Parker took their names and filled out a file card for them. Joy was the official bookkeeper to King Paul. He had hired her himself. Paul thought she looked lonely and was still wondering how she got here. Behind Joy's desk stood Man and Pamela Tyrrell. Mari wrote travel folders to help add population to Paul's marvelous kingdom. Carol Gilbert did screen tests. Pam- ela Tyrrell was first secretary to his majesty. Her assistants were Janet Lehto. Pat West, Betsy Flanders, Pauline Stevens, and Donna Parker. Looking to our extreme right, we see a complete disturbance; but it proves only to be Betty Massey explaining to Bev and Judy what they did'to get here. It was really very easy. Betty is a psychologist. All at once the great doors of the Inferno swing open. The two most egotistic, hifalutin, osentatious characters in all Plutoland enter. It was the sc arem' boys. Bev noticed they were none other than Joe Gurdak and Rick Hams. With a mighty yell for courage. Joe aimed his gun and fired. Everyone screamed, for what he shot at them was deadly. Water is what we used to call it; but now, in Pluto, it was known as boo-juice. Leo Barrows, errand boy. went racing to get Cheryl Goodrich who was the bum surgeon. Cheryl ran a clinic and her assistants were Simone Paradis. Paula Dockum, and Ruth Garrow. It seems that the boo-juice had hit Joe and Rick's arch enemy, Joe Big Cat Beauchain. Now there was a . ill scale riot to be quieted. One could see Leo racing back for Lynn Thomas s two man army. They could do their job and do it well. The other half of the army was Janice 'Ma' Fuller. After that not it took a couple of engineers to put the Inferno back in order. These mighty men were RogetsBaker and John Rowe. Meanwhile Mike Frye was called upon to re-style Rory's hair. Lee Ann Lanaon went back to teaching the ways of evil, and Craig Hall just went. One takes it for granted that he went back to join Larry Plumb ac the A. A. Club. That s short tot Amiable Animals. As night beings a cloud of darkness over the kingdom, four more souls may be seen winging or should we say living their way to Hades. They are Pamela Woodell. Pat Farrar. Theresa Paul and Jeff Lawrence.
