Seniors OFFICERS: Rogers - Treas., Joe - Pres., Leo - Vice-Pres., Donna - Sec. MOTTO: The Will To Do, The Soul To Dare, The Knowledge To Succeed SONG: This World is Ours To the tune of Exodus by Ernest Gold This world is ours; We'll make this world our own. This grand and glorious world our own. Our high school days are o'er; A New world's come to us. In the hands of God we know we can succeed. Live--we'll live. We'll make our land stand high. We'll show the world we can get by. Black River in our hearts; The past years, fresh, alive. We are not afraid. We'll make ourselves stand high. This world is ours; We'll make this world our own. This grand and glorious world our own. For our four years are done. And we'll march out as one. We will face the nations in the world and try To put our land on high. Now we must leave. We'll try to use our knowledge right. You, Black River, You are the past. CLASS COLORS: Green and White CLASS MARSHAL: Edward McQuaide

Senior Address It is with great regret that we the Class of ’65 will have to leave B.R.H.S. But now we have completed our high school education. We all hope that the past four years have not been wasted and that we have all gained a good educa- tion. Now each of us must go out into the world and face all the challenges it may offer. We hope each of us will conquer the challenges that face us. We also hope each of us has chosen a career that will bring us happiness and suc- cess, Joseph Gurdak President 1965 Junior Response Members of the Class of 1965, as seniors here at Black River High School, you have acquired the basic tools with which to move out into a new and different life. With the dignity and poise of adults, you will use these tools to meet the challenges of this world and achieve success. On behalf of the class of 1966, I would like to extend our sincere wishes for your success and happiness. As you leave, we hope we can follow in your footsteps and become seniors with the grace and dignity which you have shown. After you have gone, we hope we can carry on and maintain the respect for seniors which you upheld during the past year. We wish you the best of luck in all your future en- deavors. Edward McQuaide President 1966
