Cj czss Mr. Wesley Davidson is sitting in the office of his expanded Amiracle Automobiles, Inc. The year is 1977. Jean Edwards, his private secretary, enters to check out a few details on next week's convention. Little does Old Crash know that all his former classmates will meet at this convention. Some are aware that they are employed by a former classmate but most are not in direct contact but in some other branch of work for the auto plant. The day arrives and many of the delegates have checked into Tom Lake's hotel, and some of the ladies have made appointments with the hotel's beauty shop run by Sandra Sheehan, Wilma Van Guilder, and Karen Partanen. The medical staff with Stanley Blanchard as Medical Technician and Jeanne Dunnels, his registered nurse, are making sure that this will be a safe convention. Precautions have been taken in case of accidents. As the hundreds of delegates, among them the 1962 graduates of B. R. H. S., enter the hall, they are greeted by the reception committee, the head of which is Pat Tyrrell. Carol Stocker, file clerk, hands each the week's schedule and many classmates are surprised and de- lighted to recognize their old friends. They comment on the rooms' interiors, decorated by Verne De- vereaux. Blending with the decor are several of Caroline Brzoza's advertising posters for Amiracle cars. She has managed to successfully combine the two careers of marriage and art. Tom Eddy, head of the plant's sales staff, and Bill Frye, oil ty- coon, make a late entrance after surprising each other in the cafeteria run by Bob McNab. One of his waitresses is Ellen Lamere and the four catch up on some news before the convention. Meanwhile, the plant's advisor, Dennis McNulty; the chief engi- neer, Tad Tucker; and photographer, John Snarski, Jr. are in consul- tation about the evening's program. It is decided that the Children's Theater of Amiracle City, directed by Steph Rowe, pianist Sylvia Syria, and guitarist Earl Washburn will provide entertainment. Rich Myatt, public relations man, will act as emcee.
