The Varsity Basketball Team plays a schedule of four games. A number of practice games are to be played as well. This year's team has great speed. They will play a strong pressing defense. The team speed should enable them to use the fact break effectively. This team features six players returning from last year's Junior Varsity. They use a quick and aggressive style that emphasizes defense.

Our team defeated both Meadow- brook and Twin Peaks twice by scores of 13-3, 13-31, 12-4 and 12-4. Over eighty C805 boys and thirty C301 girls tried out for a team that was trimmed to a total of thirty-six. l36j Team Racquetball showed everyone what results from hard work and dedication. Black Mountains gymnastics team consists of sixth, seventh and eighth grade girls. They compete on all four women's olympic events. While performing, they are judged on their flexibility, elegance, and amplitude of elements as well as perfection of the routine. This year's Varsity and junior Varsity teams captured the league championship.
