Coach Lay will have four returning from this year's squad with two of the higher scorers coming back to score some more. With this returning tal ent plus some new faces bringing added punch, next year's team should be something to watch.

The girls may not have had a sparkling record, but one of the bright spots of the season was their third place finish at the Carl Sandburg tournament where they did bring home some iron 123. Deb waits for an inbound pass 1333 Sharlene eyes a free throw 1459 and Peggy gets the fast break going CSD. At the awards banquet, Joni Hutton and julie Bumphrey won the Most Improved Player award. There was also a tie in the voting for Most Valu- able Player with Sharlene Mason and Peggy He- bel sharing the honor.
