August 18 and 19, 1977, the Thtusday and Friday before the start of classes, STUDENT ORIENTATION was held for new students. A RAKU POTTERY DEMONSTRATION in the Campus quad was directed by james Sloan of Galva fpicture 21 on October 19, 1977. This ancient oriental technique is associated with the Zen Tea Ceremony.
