Divers, as an Instructor of Communica- tions, teaches Mass Commu- nications, Principles of Ef- fective Public Speaking, In- terpersonal Communication, and Communications 100. Mr. Divers received a B.A. in Speech and English from St. Martin's College, Olym- pia, Washington, and an M.S. in Speech Communi- cation from Illinois State University. MARY HARTLEY Mary Hartley is an Assis- tant Professor. She teaches Biology, Ecology, and Chemistry. Mary received her B.S. and M.S. in Zoology from Western Illinois University. HUBERT M. HELMKAMP As an Assistant Professor, Mr. Helmkamp is responsible for much of the automotive instruction in the new Me- chanical Power Technology program. ' Before joining the BHE staff, Mr. Helmkamp served for twenty-seven years in the automotive field, in man- agement, service, and sales positions. BENTON A Professor in the Agricul- ture program, Dr. Benton taught ag economics, farm management, and ag mar- keting courses and supervised students on work experience. Dr. Benton's bachelor's and master's degrees in ag education are from the Uni- versity of Nebraska, his Ph.D. in ag economics is from the University of Illi- nois. DAVID L. BRADBURY David Bradbury is an As- sistant Professor of English and Journalism. Mr. Brad- bury teaches English 101 and 102, Modern Fiction, and su- pervises the Yearbook. .Mr. Bradbury earned his A.A. from Grand View Col- lege, B.A. from Drake Uni- versity, and NLS. from Illi- nois State University. KENT CLAUS SEN Kent Ciaussen is an Assis- tant Professor and Coordina- tor of the Business Program. In addition, he teaches In- troduction to Business, Ad- vertising, Marketing, and Economics. A Mr. Claussen received his M.S. in Marketing from Northern Illinois University and his 8.5. from Bradley University. W KEITH COWDERY Joining the staff for the spring semester of 1977, Keith Cowdery is an Instruc- tor in the Mechanical Powr Technology Program housed at Elmira. Cowdery earned an associ- ate degree in applied sci- ence at Spoon River College and has had ten years exper- ience working in the field of agriculture equipment me- chanics. CURTIS HULTEEN Professor Curtis Hulteen teaches General, Child, Per- sonality, Educational, Indus- trial, and Social Psychology. l-le also supervises the Inde- pendent Learning Center. He received a B.S. and M.S. from Illinois State University, and an Ed.D. from Indiana University. B. A. JACOBSEN Mr. Jacobsen is the In- structor of all art courses of- fered at BHS. He received his B.A. and Nl.F.A. from Southern Illi- nois University. KEN MAGUIRE Ken Maguire is an Assis- tant Professor and one of the original faculty members of BHE. Ken teaches Anthro- pology, History, Sociology, and Social Problems. Ken received his A.S. from Broward Junior College in Ft. Lauderdale, iflorida, B.A. from Eastern Kentucky State College, and M.A. from Eastern Kentucky Uni- versity. JUDITH MOORE McNABB Mrs. McNabb is an Assis- tant Professor in the Practi- cal Nursing Program. Mrs. McNabb's educational background includes a diplo- ma from Cottage Hospital School of Nursing in Gales- burg, an A.B. from Knox College.
