He serves on the Ac- ademic Review Committee and the North Central Review Committee. Mr. Claussen received his B. S. in Bus- iness Administration at Bradley University and an M. S. in Marketing from Northern Illinois University. Prior to coming to B. H. E. , he spent three years teaching bus- iness at the University of Wisconsin, Whitewater, and has four years experience in business and industry. JACOBSEN Mr. Bruce Jacobsen is the new Instruc- tor responsible for all courses in the art program. I-Ie has als o served on the Social and Special Events Committees. Mr. Jacobsen received his B.A. and M. F.A. b oth from Southern Illinois Uni- versity. In addition to his extensive experience in drawing and painting, Mr. Jacobsen en- joys ph otogr aphy, golf, and travel with his wife Wendy. MARY I-IARTLEY Mary Hartley is an Assistant Professor. She t e a c h e s Biology a n d Ecology. Mary serves on the T e nure, Promotion Review, and Merit Bonus Committees. Mary received her B.S. and M.S. in Zoology from Western Illinois University. In her spare time, she e nj oys garden- ing, farming, bicycling, canoeing, hik- ing, and her husband. CAROLYN ANDERSEN C a roly n Andersen is an Assistant Pro- fessor of Business. She h elps supervise the Business Lab and t e a c h e s Office Occupa- tions courses. She has served on the Spec- ial Events Committee, Tenure Committee, and the Instructional Research and Devel- opme nt Committee QIRDCJ. She also co- sponsors the Business Club. Mrs. Andersen received her B. S. from Western Illinois University, her M. S. from Mi ch i g a n State University, and has done additional work at the University of Miss- ouri, Southern Illinois University fEdwards- villej, and the University of Illinois. DAVID L. BRADBURY David L. Bradbury is an Assistant Pro- fessor of English, Journalism, and Drama. Mr. Bradbury teaches English 102, Comm- unications, American Literature, and Mo- dern Fiction. He serves on the Bicentenn- ial, Tenure, District Compensation, Dis- trict Te nure and Retention Committees. Also, Mr. Bradbury sponsors the Drama and Yearbook organizations. IVIr. Bradbury earned his A.A, from Grand View College, B.A. from Drake University, and M. S. from Illinois State University. Additional w o rk w as done at Bradley University, Illinois St ate Univer- sity, and the London Center. Mr. B r a d b u r y enjoys travel, photo- graphy, and drama during his spare time. LYNDA WILLIAMS Instructor Lynda Williams teaches Eng- lish 101 and English 102. She has served on the Curriculum Committee and Social Committee. Mrs. Williams received h er B.A. from Bradley University a nd has done additional work at Western Illinois University. She enjoys skiing and other outdoor activities in her spare time. KEN MAGUIRE Ken M ag uire is an Assistant Professor and one of the original faculty members of B. H. E. Ken teaches Anthropology, So- ciology, S oc i al Problems, and American History. He is also an official timer at basketball g a m e s. He serves on the North Central, Social, and Constitution Revision Committees, and also the President's Ad- visory Council. Ken re c e iv e d his A. S. from Broward junior College in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, B.A. from Eastern Ke ntucky State Col- lege, and M.A. from Eastern Kentucky University. He has done additional work at the University of Colorado. Ken enjoys golf, tennis, photography, Mason and Shrine activities, and Sherlock Holmes in his spare time.
