JACOBSEN Mr. Bruce Jacobsen is the new Instruc- tor responsible for all courses in the art program. I-Ie has als o served on the Social and Special Events Committees. Mr. Jacobsen received his B.A. and M. F.A. b oth from Southern Illinois Uni- versity. In addition to his extensive experience in drawing and painting, Mr. Jacobsen en- joys ph otogr aphy, golf, and travel with his wife Wendy. MARY I-IARTLEY Mary Hartley is an Assistant Professor. She t e a c h e s Biology a n d Ecology. Mary serves on the T e nure, Promotion Review, and Merit Bonus Committees. Mary received her B.S. and M.S. in Zoology from Western Illinois University. In her spare time, she e nj oys garden- ing, farming, bicycling, canoeing, hik- ing, and her husband. CAROLYN ANDERSEN C a roly n Andersen is an Assistant Pro- fessor of Business. She h elps supervise the Business Lab and t e a c h e s Office Occupa- tions courses. She has served on the Spec- ial Events Committee, Tenure Committee, and the Instructional Research and Devel- opme nt Committee QIRDCJ. She also co- sponsors the Business Club. Mrs. Andersen received her B. S. from Western Illinois University, her M. S. from Mi ch i g a n State University, and has done additional work at the University of Miss- ouri, Southern Illinois University fEdwards- villej, and the University of Illinois. HOGE Assistant Professor, D an Hoge, teaches Animal Science, Fe eds and Fe eding, Swine Science, Be e f Science, Meat Ani- mal Evaluation, and serves as a placement supervisor for work experience. Mr. Hog e has s erve d on the Merit Bonus, Academic Review, North C e nt r al Review Commit- tees, a nd as Secretary of the A g Advisory C omm i tt e e. He helps sponsor th e Agri- Business Club, Liv e s t o c k judging Team, and the Dairy Judging Team. Dan received his B.S. and M. S. in Animal Science from the University of Ill- inois with additional work at the Univers- ity of Illinois a n d S o ut h e r n Illinois Uni- versity fC a rb o n d a 1 e Q. Before coming to B. H. E. , Mr. Hoge worked at th e Univers- ity of Illinois Extension Service and as Livestock Specialist in Henry County. In his spare time, he belongs to the National Junior College Livestock Coaches Association, Purebred Livestock Business, and enjoys professional livestock judging. RON RABER Ron Raber, an A s s i st a nt Professor in the Agriculture program, taught crops and soils c o ur s e s and co-sponsored th e Agri- Business Club. In the spring of 1976, Ron decided to put the theory he'd been teach- ing into practice and left the st aff to be- come a full-time farmer. Mr. Raber e arne d his B. S. at Illinois State University, his M. S. at Southern Ill- i n oi s University, and h a s done additional work at the University of Illinois. Ron is also an active Jaycee. JON R. WOLF jon Wolf is the Horse Science Instruc- tor. He teaches all of the horse science c ours es. He has served as the chairperson of the Social Committee and has also served on the S p e c i al Events Committee. In addition to coaching the H orse judging Team, he h e lps sponsor the Agri-Business Club. Mr. W olf received his B. S. and M. S. both from the University of Illinois. His inte rest in horses is shared by his wife and daughter.
