He is responsible for: formulation of r e c o m m e n d e d policy for Board of Trustees consideration, implementation of the policies approved by the Board, di r e c tio n of current and long-range p l a n n i n gg development and maintenance of an appropriate administrative and academic organizationg development and maintenance of a pro gram for the effective management of institutional resources to sup- port all institutional programs. Dr. Reid received his Ed.D. from the University of California. DeCABOOTER Dr. DeCabooter, the Vice-President for Academic Affairs and Provost of the East Campus, is responsible for the formulation of policies, their recom- mendation to the President, and their implementation after Board approval. For all East Campus Programs he directs planning and coordinates the neces- sary faculty, staff, facilities, supplies, and equipment for each. I-Ie serves on a number of campus and district councils and committees, and this year he also supervises the campus newspaper. His educ ation included an A. A. from St. Gregory's Junior College in Shawnee, Oklahoma, a B. A. fro m St. John's Univ e rsit y in Congerville, Minnesota, and an M. S. Ed. and Ed. D. from Indiana University in Blooming- ton. Before coming to B. I-LE., he held administrative positions at St. Gregory's Junior College and Indiana University.
