B NURSING Betty Rake Qlnstructorj NURSING Judy Tyler flnstructorj I received my B,A. degree from Knox College in Galesburg and was a graduate of the Galesburg Cottage Hospital school of Nursing. I joined the Black Hawk East faculty in September of 1970. Betty Rake and I direct the Nursing Service Curriculum at B.H.E.C .... Before coming to Black Hawk I taught nursing at Carl Sandburg College in Galesburg. I was born in Onconta, New York. I attended Penn Wesleyan College, Allentown, Pennsylvania for two years, and took nurses training at Milford Hospital in Delaware. For three years I was an Air Force nurse. I also spent a year in Zambia, Africa doing missionary work. Then I taught three years at the Cottage Hospital School of Nursing, Galesburg, Illinois, prior to coming to B.H.E. as an instructor in the Practical Nursing Program. 'Zim

AGRICULTURE Lanny Anderson Clnstructorj I am a native of the Cambridge area and have always been interested in the rural community. It is for this reason that I decided to make Agriculture my profession. Before coming to Black Hawk East I taught Vocational Agriculture at Easton High School for five years. At B.I-I.E.C. I teach a variety of courses from Agricultural Economics to Farm Machinery Management. My on campus activities include Chairman of the Faculty Senate and Co-Advisor of the Agri-Business Club. I received my B.S. and HIS 2 2 , 'SW' AGRICULTURE Dan E. Hoge flnstructorj I am a native of Walnut Illinois and presently live in Cambridge. I joined the Black Hawk East faculty in September of this year. Before coming to B.I-l.E.C. I was the Henry County Assistant Extension Adviser in Agriculture for the University of Illinois. I teach Animal Science in the Occupational Programs. I received both my B.S. and M.S. degrees in Animal Science at the University of Illinois. AGRICULTURE Ronald Raber flnstructorj I am from a small farm community in Central Illinois called Flanagan, Illinois. I have always been interested in how crops can be affected by different climates and soils. It was for this reason that Imajored in Agronomy in college. Before I joined the staff of Black Hawk East College I was a Navy officer. After my duty in the service I went back to the University of Illinois to get my M.S. degree, having received my B.S. degree from the University before my enlistment. I joined Black Hawk East in September of this year and teach crops and soils. M.Ed. degrees from the University of Illinois. I
