After winning the Tri-County Championship from Prairie du Sac 'n a playoff game at Black Earth, the team went on to the tournament at Sauk City. They again beat Pr iric to go on to the district tournament at Middleton and played Waunakee for the district title. Black E th beat Waunakee and were then qualified for the Sectional meet at Lake Mills.
