The royalty Barneveld was burned in effigy in the 58 Margaret Martinson and her court formed their half-time show. ' v , . The theme chosen for the dance was Autumn Leaves. Members of the court were: Dorothy Walstad and Gene Brabender, Gloria Dauck and Dale Jaeger, Christine Amble and Gene Schumann, Karen Garfoot and Peter Thorson.

King Douglas Sveum and Queen Judie Barsness were crowned in front of the scene depicting the theme, Winter Wonderland The court consisted of: Karen Garfoot, Gene Schumann, Margaret Mar- tinsen, Dale Jaeger, Ruth I-lowery, Gale Urbanzick, Dorothy Walstad, and Calvin Tollefson. Crown bearers were Pamela Bailey and Wayne Barsness, Skaters, snowmen, snow-sprayed trees, snowflakes and deer also helped to portray the winter scenes.
