SENIORS Class Flower AMERICAN BEAUTY RosE EARL BOEHMER ALBERT DALLAO PRESIDENT VICE PRESIDENT C ass VVQ' fflrnsh CLASS HISTORY September 19111 Our class mlght be consldered qulte fortu nate s1nce we had the opportunlty to organIze as elghth graders rather than Freshmen because of the Introductlon of Junlor Hxgh work In our fIrst year at Black Creek TOWDSh1p H1gh School we chose Dolores Margle PresIdent Dolores Bones Vlce PresIdent Randall Matyas Secretary Edward Mylet Treasurer After a very successful elghth grade we were all good frxends and eager to come back as Freshmen September 19118 ThIs fall we entered the Halls of Learnlng wlth an enrollment of 32 students ThlS was also the year when Mrs Walp took the posltlon as our advIser and began guIdIng her fIrst class through 1tS hlgh school lIfe Under her super VISIOH we organlzed and chose our very compe tent class officers They were Presldent Earl Boenmer V106 Presldent Randall Matyes Sec retarv Dolores Margle Treasurer Dolores Bones Now lt was tlme to choose our class pm and after much dIscuss1on we flnally reached a dec1s1on We also had to d9Cld9 on our class colors We chose blue and whlte As Freshmen we declded to get well ac quamted and held prwate class partles We 10 were the flrst class to Introduce the Idea of thls new way of havlng fun September 1949 Upon entermg our Sophomore year we found that the Junlors wasted no tlme ID In1tIatIng us Into Senlor Hlgh School ThI h9Ct1C week was completed after the party whlch was held for us by the JUHIOTS As Sophomores we dIdn t haxe very much to do but we dxd have several parties and dmners at school And so our Sophomore year ended success fully under the dlrectlon of our class advIser and class ofhcers who were Pr6S1deHt Joyce Croll V106 Presldent Carolme Chyko Secre tary Randall Matyas Treasurer Leona Chyko September 1950 Upon returmng to school In September we certalnly started out wlth great enthuslasm Flrst we chose the week we set out to Introduce the Sophomores Into Senlor Hlgh School but because of some obJectIon the old tradItIon of our school was changed from one week to two days Followlng the In1tIatIon the usual party was held In honor of the Sophomores Not long after accompllshlng tl'11S task sfxle ac I' 1 ' 1 ' 1 , , , . DOLORES MARGLE CAROLINE CHYKO SECRETARY TREASURER Motto o begun men began to v1s1t us wlth class rlngs and be cause we were eager to receive our rlngs before Chrlstmas we were happy when we finally chose a ring which we thought would b very attrac tlve and satlsfactory Durlng the second s mester we publlshed the Bee Cee Tee as IS the custom of the Junior Class to do After we had flnlshed we found It to be a favorable success br1ng1ng 1n a llttle of the money we needed to sponsor the Junlor Senlor Prom The greatest source of necessary money was a result of the bingo and dance success Now that we had an abundant amount of money we set out to plan the Prom Flrst we contacted several orchestras and declded on Gabe Garland to supply us with his heavenly music and next we planned the decorations menu and further entertamment We chose as our theme April Showers Brlng May Flowers To add more f6St1Vlty to the seml formal affair we showered the gvm w1th confetti The end of our Junlor year had come and we realized we had accompllshed somethlng under the dlrectlon of our capable class officers PFGSI dent Earl Boehmer Vice President Dale Wit tlg Secretary Dolores Margle Treasurer Dolores Bones 1952 CLASS COLORS BLUE AND WHITE September 1951 Well here We are Seniors I'e8l1Z1I1g the re spons1b1l1t1es before us and therefore we wasted no time 1n appointlng Earl Boehmer President of our class agaln Albert Dallao was chosen V1ce Presldent Dolores Margle Secretary and Carollne Chyko Treasurer We drew a schedule for the year s aCt1V1t1eS which began with a Calendar Party held 1n Sep tember and contlnued w1th a strlng of successful dances blngos plays and Chrlstmas card and candy selling campaigns Laurel was our most lmportant undertakmg We dedicated lt to Mrs Walp who guided us wlth much patience and perseverance The time seemed to fly by and soon Com mencement Day and other graduation activities were at hand Though Commencement IS usually thought of as a day to celebrate because of thc feelmg of great accompllshment It came as a sad day for us because we knew we d be leavlng our Alma Mater and frlends HaV1ng reached the end of our high school career we reluctantly go leavlng behlnd us only sincere gratltude to our teachers who have helped us so much and to the underclassmen the Splrlt of determlnatlon in thrlvlng for accom plxshment 11 It 4' 99 I . ew V v . . .
