Student Senate 1968 Student Senate throughout the school year 1967-1968 has accomplished much for the student body in the way of social activity, as well as having a voice in faculty committees dealing with academic areas of interest to the student. The Christmas semi-formal, Frost Festival formal and spring formal arrangements were completely taken care of by the entertainment commit- tee, and provided a memorable time for everyone. Frost Festival, the event of the year, is the largest undertaking of Senate during the year. Hard work and painstaking planning by various committees made BJC's Fourth Annual Frost Festival a suc- cess this year. Senate has also donated time and money to different charities during the year. Scholarships in the amount of one hundred dollars were awarded to worthy students. Student Senate has set up a fund for these scholar- ships to be awarded yearly. Student Senate is the student body voice at BJC. Senators-at-Large. ROW ONE, L. to R. : Jerry Engleman, Linda Peterson, Bob Waddingham, Cindy Hehn, and Rich Patch.
