Los Oficiales BeJotaCe-anos Los BeJotaCeanos, or the BJC Spanish club, highlights each school year with the sponsorship of the Christmas formal, as it did this year on December 29. Open to all students who can speak Spanish, the club also held a Pan-American day on April 14 as part of its activities. Climaxing the year's events, several members of the club took a caravan trip to Mexico during the month of August, this being the third year that such a trip was made. Standing - Dennis Gartner, Tommy Thompson, Vicki Steinert, Maureen Bryant, Kathy Arenson, Bud Singleton, Alex Feland, Faye Neidhardt, Phyllis Kranich, Marlene DuVall, Dick Geiger. Under the direction of Jane Gray Smith, this year's Collegiate Players produced Death Takes a Holiday and Harvey. The sec- ond annual Variety Show and four one-act plays also were the pro- ducts of the efforts of the Players.

Student Education Association The S.E.A. is an association formed in the fall of 1960 to bring future teachers together at monthly gatherings. They hear state and local educators tell of the opportunities and requirements that face prospective teachers. Members of the SEA are. Row 1 - Pam Tifft, Deanna Beierle, Charles Klein, Mary Ann Engelter, Delores Walker, Carol Reimers. Row 2 - Phyllis Carlson, Barbara Stratton, Gracie Paulsen, Marcella Schafer, Elizabeth Michelson, Judy Thompson, Joann Trygg, Don Schock. Row 3 - Velza Knoll, Vicky Steinert, Pat Green, Margie Assel, Patricia Lenihan, Irvin Smith. Row 4 - Alvin Maier, Kyle Twaddle, George Silbernagel, Bob Z.oller, Darwin Strobel, Luther Schoon. Officers of the SEA are - Chuck Klein, president; Pat Green, secretary; Velza Knoll, vice-president; and Patricia Lenihan, student council representative. International Relations Club International Relations Club Officers are - Joanne Worthington, president; Elaine Hermes, secretary; Rod Tjaden,student council rep- resentative; Bill Kleven, vice-president; and I.E. Solberg, advisor. The purpose of the International Relations Club is to study the programs of the United States State Department in relationship to major countries. They study the rolls that major coun- tries play in the United Nations. A representative from the club attends the United Nations Association of Col- leges, which is held in Minnesota in April.
