Lettermen's Club Membership in the Lettermen's Club is open to all men who have par- ticipated in organized college sports and have earned a letter in football, basketball, track, baseball, or golf. The major project of the year consists of the buying of jackets. Money is earned for this project through raffles, the sale of school sweatshirts, and basketball programs. Row 1 - Rod Tjaden, Bruce Howie, Jim Martin, Don Larson, Howard Unterseher. Row 2 - Lee DeForest, Denby Deegan, Jerry Hieb, Ralph Berger. Row 3 - Edward Schnaible, Ralph Jose, Marshall Just, Bill Gregg, Arden Wagner, Dennis Johnson, Vern Keim. Vets' Club Row 1 - Darwin Strobel, Virgle Engstrom, Mike Gutensohn, Charles Kline. Row 2 - Vincent Koch, Alvin Maier, Irvin Smith, Walter Robinson. Lettermen's Club officers: Howard Unterseher, President; Bruce Howie, Secretary-Treasurer; Denby Deegan, Vice-President. Open to all former servicemen, the primary function of the Vets’ Club, besides being a semi-social group, is to supervise the campus traffic situation. The college sher- iff is elected from the club and is responsible for proper parking of students' cars and for general safety on the parking lot.
