The pipers are on the spot when the college wants to make a hit with the public.

College Band Crescendo, Fortissimo, Pianissimo - - What does it all mean - - It all means that the BJC Pep Band is hard at work preparing themselves to be ready when their services are required - - and they are always required. Harold Kepler’s group is on call for pep rallies, athletic contests and other functions, need- ing the services of the band. 1956 was a milestone for the bandmen as the group came into its own, presenting its first full public concert, sharing the program with the BJC Chorus. BRAVO BANDSTERS!

Leading the troops of the 1956-57 Veterans' Club are Duane Hummel, Treasurer; Daniel Frank, President; and Bill Fritz, Vice-Presi- dent. The Vets did a splendid job this year of solving the parking problem on campus, with “Sheriff Bittis and his deputies handing out the parking tickets and imposing fines upon violators.
