Frank Mitchell As I attempt to put into perspective my experience as superintendent of the Bismarck School District, the thought of being responsible for and or to 700 students, around 70 employees, and a community weighs heavily on my mind. Such responsibility has often been the source of great satisfaction and also of tremendous burden. Making the difficult decisions which accompany this responsibility has been a challenge and a valuable learning experience. I have a genuine concern for the students, staff, and patrons of this school system because, in essence, 1 have invested four years of my life in the system. The past cannot be recovered; therefore, my concern is for the future.
