In Memory Of Arlan Henson Jeffery Norton Jeffery Norton, son of Mrs. Faye Norton and James Norton, was killed June 19, when he was struck by a truck on a Malvern street. Jeffery was a member of the seventh grade. Jeffery's friends will miss him, but we shall remember Jeffery as a quiet and thoughtful little boy. who loved life. HE IS JUST AWAY I cannot say, and I will not say That he is dead—he is just away! With a cheery smile, and a wave of the hand. He has wandered into an unknown land, And left us dreaming how very fair It needs must be. since he lingers there. And you—O you. who the wildest yearn For the old time step and glad return. Think of him faring on, as dear In the love of There as the love of Here; Think of him still as the same. I say: He is not dead —he is just away! Arlan Henson, son of Mr. Mrs. Kyle Henson, died July 5, following a short illness. Arlan was a member of the ‘78 Senior Class. Arlan’s death left a vacant place in the hearts of those of us who knew him as an outstanding young man in every aspect of life. We loved him, and we shall miss him forever. 2 James Whitcomb Riley
