The theme for the '70-'71 homecoming was, A Moonlite Garden in Paris. The coronation followed traditional process, with the crowning and robing of the queen followed by a pep rally led by the cheerleaders. A new tradition was added this year, which is significant of B.H.S. on the move, the co-captain giving the queen a kiss as he robed her. Queen Connie The 1970-71 homecoming queen is Connie Harris. She is the daughter of 1SG and Mrs. D. L. Harris. Connie is 5'4 , has auburn colored hair, and brown eyes. She is very active in senior projects, enjoys traveling, swimming, and horse back riding. Her plans after school are to attend Baylor Dental College in Dallas, Texas. 39
