Cindy House -FFA Sweetheart Cindy is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert House. She is a 5'1 1 2” brunette. She was a '70-71 homecoming maid and an active member of F.H.A. and the sophomore class. She enjoys reading, cooking, and sewing. Cindy is indeed a fine representative of F.F.A. Rodney Whitfield -FHA Beau Rodney is the son of Mr. and Mrs. G. F. Whitfield. He is a 6ft. tall, blue eyed boy with brown hair. Rodney is president of F.F.A. and was elected wittiest, best all-round, and Mr. BHS. 18

They are chosen as Mr. and Miss BHS because they are two students who best represent the everyday life of Bismarck High School. Citizens O Th e Year With the help of the teachers, the Yesteryear Staff chose Donna McClard and Dennis Dreyer as Citizens of the year. They were chosen for their interest in school, enthusiasm for sports, and their attitude toward their fellow classmates. Donna is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clifford McClard and Dennis is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Rusty Dreyer. Girls State '70 Phyliss Pilcher and Rhonda Burton were chosen to represent Bismarck at Girl's State for the year 1969-70. They were chosen by the teachers for their character, leadership ability, and their activities in school. Phyliss is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carmie Pilcher and Rhonda is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Neal Burton. 19
