Many new teaching techniques and devices were introduced to Bismarck this year. Among them were the planetarium used in earth science and the tape player with various tapes of economic interest which was purchased for consumer economics. And in Elementary, although it is not new this year, we have a remedial reading program which has helped many students with its modern audio and visual aids. These are just a few of the techniques and devices that keep B.H.S. on the move academically. 10

Principals Mr. Doyle Henderson has returned to Bismarck High School this year as principal. Mr. Henderson attended the University of Arkansas and Henderson State College. He is married and has three children. Mr. Henderson has brought with him new ideas in discipline and ideas for the curriculum. He has attained the respect and friendship of each student. Mr. Doyle Henderson Mr. Floyd Looper has added the job of principal to the position he held as junior high math teacher. Mr. Looper attended Henderson State College. He is married and has two children. Mr. Looper has filled his job well and has brought honor and distinction to ideas of discipline and education. 12 Mr. Henderson keeps down mischief in the halls.
