Mr. Holt enjoys a quiet evening with Mrs. Holt after a hard day at school. Superintendent I wish each student represented in this volume of YESTERYEAR success and happiness in the future, and hope each of you has gained something in your journey toward higher goals. Your success depends upon your efforts and the efforts of the faculty. May each graduating senior meet the responsibilities of life in a way that you may say that the time spent at Bismarck School has not been wasted. A man deeply concerned with the students, exerting his efforts for their benefit, and quietly but wisely disciplining them—this is a character portrait of Mr. Wallis Holt, our dedicated superintendent. His interest and concern will, and does, affect our lives. Mr. Holt helps clean the trophies and move them to their new place in the gym. 7
