Let each of us strive to make each school year better for the students. The “Yesteryear” Staff and Sponsor are to be commended for the preparation of the yearbook, a treasure that will grow more priceless as the years go by. MR. JOHN ORR High School Principal B. S. E. The Teachers in Various Activities During the school year teachers have more jobs than just teaching classes. Acquiring these jobs, they keep our school days running smoothly. The teachers teach their students in order for them to attain their goal in life; they don't necessarily have to dream the great dreams, but to do the great things. Mrs. Howell and Mr. Holt organize the Junior Homecoming. During the school year Mr. Holt does a lot of typing. Mr. Orr trains the boys in the field of basketball. 10 Board of Education The Board of Education had as its difficult goal the task of guiding our school of posterity to meet the demand of an ever-changing world of knowledge. The cast takes time to pose for a group picture. rAar ' Freddie Montgomery introduced the members of the cast to the audience. Do you think Bill will like my hat? 94 The Nurse chases Lady McBeth at the Took residence. Bill Thompson gets many surprise visits. Hillbilly Weddin’” presented by Senior Class Paw Belsnickle is a man with a problem. Rather six problems - in the form of six unmarried daughters. When he decides to marry two of his daughters off, a new unexpected, handsome stranger arrives. The two daughters have ideas, but two neighbors (male and unmarried) decide the handsome stranger is a menace among the attractive girls of the hills. What followed is a feud with a happy ending you can never forget. The costumes make a setting which is one of humor. Preparing for the play is hard work. 95 Feuding Hillbilly style Don’t drop that! Lulubelle” was presented as Beta Club Play The members of the Beta Club presented a play entitled Lulubelle, a one act comedy about the average American home full of teen-agers. The cast included Mitchell Fendley as Fedje; Shirley Hughes as Lulubelle; Mary Daniels as Mrs. Parker; Sandra Chancellor as Elaine; Suzanne Garrett as Marjorie; and those in the skit entitled Matrimony Bumps were Carolynn Gray and Brenda Skates. The Beta Club wishes to thank everyone for their support. Student Council Show Reveals School Talent For the past two years the Bismarck Student Council has sponsored a talent show to raise money.
