FIFTH VOLUME OF THE YEARBOOK P1466i4.6s.cl THE STUDENTS OF BISMARCK HIGH SCHOOL BISMARCK, ARKANSAS In compiling the 1949 YESTERYEARS, the staff has attempted to provide you with a book of pleasant memories in the future. We have tried to present a true reflection of this year and what has happened therein. We hope the students share our pleasure and pride in the book. Throughout their three years of service to the school, they have worked diligently to improve the Bismarck School; they have made every effort to pass their high ideals for the better things in life onto us, the students. Each year has revealed sufficient proof of their success. As a token of our appreciation, we dedicate the 1949 issue of YESTERYEARS to, SUPERINTENDENT and MRS. DEWE Y E. CHAPEL ALMA MATER To our dear old Alma Mater We will sing this song. Through the years you have been faithful, Noble, true, and great and strong, With your stately portals standing And your door open wide To the goal of wisdom’s lore. (chorus) Alma Mater, Alma Mater, Of you our voices sing In praise of all your blessings And the honor of your name, We will proudly bear the banner, Forever keep it flying high, And so we drink a toast of love To our dear old Bismarck High.
