Under beautiful decorations, everyone had a perfect time. 31 12 Midnight--Happy New Year! g4'W4 'f 3-Demons travel to Dickinson to take the first win of the new year. 4-BHS cagers again pull through with a hard-fiught 36-33 win over Minot. Our faith is in ya, fellas. 7-Inauguration ceremonies at the Capitol. Concert Choir gives a pleasing performance. 10-Paced by Baska and Anderson, the Demons trounce over Mandan, 35-16. 14-Blizzard! But a one-day vacation! 16-Bev Patera installed as Worthy Advisor for Rainbow. 17-The undefeated Demons battled with Valley City for the ninth straight win. Looks like we've got a championship team! 18-They did it again. Bismarck 49, Jamestown 22. Keep track of them, fans, that's 10 in a row. 19-Concert Choir tour to Minot for a performance. 24-25--Demons travel to Minot to play a strong Minot team. Again, we beat them by three points. Also played St. Leo's 44-24. We won, naturally. 31-Demons again trounce over Jamestown! This makes 13 straight, fellas. Keep going. The score, 40 to 9. 7eE-many 7-We decided to go over and romp Mandan. Don't think we didn't do it-152-32. What am I saying? 52-32. 9-Everyone who attended completely enjoyed the concert given by the Bismarck Symphony. 12-Have you ever heard of Enderlin? It's a small but thriving metropolis located somewhere in North Dakota. Anyway, we heard a choir from there today. Good, too. Vx 5 :A 14-After beating Wahpeton, the Demons can't lose. It was an exciting 1 N NN xx game, but everyone knewf 'IJ we'd win. xx 1 O Q ' 1 16-The first appearance of the choir. Success again. G X Q N 19-4:00 a. m. The weather is a bit chilly but many got up to get ' T tournament tickets. ' 21-The Demons took their 16th straight, tonight, 'by beating Dickinson. ' 22-Talk about a shortage of men. That must be the answer for the l 9, small attendance at the Sadie Hawkins dance. Too bad-it was fun. o J 2-5-As of now, the Demons have the record tied with 17 straight wins. Why? 'Cuz we beat St. Mary's and this time it was 43-29. 26-Joan Bleakney is Purity in Pure as the Driven Snow. Don't get me wrong, it was the Journalism play. 28f-As of now, the Demons have .broken all records by beating Valley City down there. We're all betting on them for State Champs. nu -- e--Q' Seventy-si: Wind . 6-A new and different tourney started today. Dickinson, Williston, - Minot, and good ol' Bismarck, won their first games. A dance a.fter the last game. Elmer Roubinek and his orchestra will play. 7--Bismarck and Williston pitted against each other Saturday night for Western Conference Championship. Another dance. This time it's Hugo Venat. Canteen open every night from 5 to 7 with the T Plainsmen. Q. 14-Now the real tourney. Our dream boy, Dunahay, puts us in the championship game with a basket in the last 20 seconds. But, oh, we play Grand Forks. Another dance. 15-This is it! The Demons' winning streak shattered. Grand Forks downed us 29-31 for the state championship. We almost won. Nelson, Anderson, Heising, named on all-Tourney team. 1 16- Beans Anderson made the all-state team. We're proud of you, and you deserved it. 21-First day of spring! Ice 'broke in the river. What a wave of illness f'?J hit the school! 1-What a nice April Fool edition of the I-Ii-Herald-even on yellow paper. Well, we're still all friends. 7-Today the choir had planned to leave on their tour, but it was changed to June when they will leave to sing for the Kiwanis International Convention at Chicago. 12-Junior College Spring Dance, featuring the Plainsmen. They really are wonderful-such music- Paid adv. 19-Juniors put on traditional Prom and it turned out to be one big merry-go-round. Get the connection? 24-25-What shall I do-go to Aberdeen for the track meet or stay here for Conclave. What a problem. Pleeze, Mr. Anthony, help me. 1-2-K Cram Sib-another year-another success. ' 3-Western Conference track meet-here! More available men. 7-Junior College Prom--Patty Dickman is general chairman. I hope it's as much fun as our's. 9-District Music Contest.
