LA G UA GE DEPAR TME T GEORGE LOSEN Commentfallezfvous? and similar confusing bits of French as well as Spanish and Latin are heard leaking out of Mrs. Bantz's and Mr. Losen's rooms. Don't be alarmed! It's all in a day's work for Danny and Donna. Quid est is thrown at bewildered Freshmen for them to digest-if they can. But in spite of the stern looks these two profs pass on to their frustrated beginners, they're pretty swell! Danny gets rather tired of learning long lists of Latin words- but he Ends it's fun to be able to say Ego amo te to Donna in that foreign way. Who knows? Mayl:e some day Danny will get his chance to use a little French over seas, and Donna may end up in South America to fascinate those exotic South Americans with her knowledge of Spanish. Yup! All in all we figure that our foreign languages will come in mighty handy in the future! For

If it hadn't been for Miss johnson's drilling that into his brain he could never have answered it. How he wishes that he would have paid more attention to his three Literature and English teachers4Miss johnson, Miss Murphy, and Miss Edmunds! They toiled to help him along and he thought he was doing them a favor. Danny has confessed that once in a while he's wished that we had a much simpler govern' ment. Then there's Sociology. Are you an idiot?
