There may or may not be a team organized, but as we go to press the suits are not out. Tennis is somewhat late in starting, but the usual tournaments will be held. Last years' girls team turned up first in the Big Pine hassle and al- though the boys were green material they showed well. This year Linton, and Ken will fur- nish good competition for the best of them. Mr. Kerr is coaching the squad. Are we Proud! As has happened for years with surprising regularity B.Ll.l-l.S. again turned out a ski team of national caliber. Four out of fifteen entries from California and Nevada to the Junior Nationals were our own Stars -- see above. Theye were, moreover, the top four on the list. Jill's thirteenth in the combined at the Nationals and Bob's sixteenth lKen was iniuredl only went to show that the group could hold it's own anywhere, any- time. This issue went to press before the American Legion Western States Junior Championships at Sun Valley were run, but it is confidently expected that even better records will be hung up there, es- pecially by Ken Lloyd who has been con- sistently beating one of the juniors who placed fifth in the National combined. Bishop Hi has achieved national recognition in the field of skiing. We can iustly be proud of our champions.
